Biometry  

CESAR-Biometry is responsible for availability and use of optimal statistical methods in CESAR projects and supports the working groups of CESAR in the design and analysis of studies.

 

Its mission is to support and to promote the scientific advancement of anti-cancer drug research according to the mission of CESAR and in accordance with statistically sound methodology.

The CBS advices in

  • the statistical design of the study and the determination of the minimal num¬ber of patients required;
  • the standardized documentation and the recording of the study data in ac¬cordance with the trial protocol;
  • the computerized storage, processing, and statistical analysis of the data;
  • the interpretation and reporting of the trial results from a biostatistical view.
